Day 1

GUATEMALA CITY / ANTIGUA (City Tour | INC: -/-/-

Arrival in Guatemala City. Reception at the Airport and depart to the beautiful colonial city of Antigua.

In the afternoon we will visit the most charming corners of this wonderful city like: the convent of la Merced and its

fountain, Las capuchinas, convent of the Jesuits, Santo Domingo and its museum, San Carlos, San Francisco and

others.

Day 2

ANTIGUA / (Tour to Chichicastenango Market / PANAJACHEL | INC: B

Breakfast. Visit Chichicastenango, known for it’s famous open-air native market (only on Thursdays and Sundays) and

the Church of Santo Tomas built 400 years ago. Here you can see how local people mingle Catholic ceremonies and

pre-hispanic rites.

Day 3

PANAJACHEL / (Tour Lake Atitlan and Santiago Atitlan / GUATEMALA CITY | INC: B

Breakfast. Boat tour at 8:30 AM to visit the town of Santiago Atitlan. Transfer to Guatemala City. Overnight.

Day 4

GUATEMALA CITY / TIKAL (Tour to Tikal) | INC: C/L

Early in the morning, depart from the hotel to the Airport, board a flight heading to Flores Petén to visit Tikal National

Park. Visit the Q complex, Plaza Central, Acropolis North and Center, Lost world, Temple IV where you can admire

the green of the jungle. Lunch (included).

Day 5

TIKAL / SAN IGNASIO (Belize) | INC: B

Breakfast. Transfer to San Ignasio (Belize). Accommodation and rest of the day at leisure.

Day 6

SAN IGNASIO (Tour Xunantunich and Cahal Pech Mayan Site) | INC: B

Early morning tour to Xunantunich, this major ceremonial center in located on a natural limestone ridge, providing a

panoramic view of the Cayo District. The largest pyramid, ―El Castillo‖, has been partially excavated and rises 130

feet above the plaza level. There is a most impressive stucco frieze on the East side of the temple, whose carved

elements represent astrological symbols. After the tour free time for lunch (not included) and continue to Cahal Pech,

situated on an imposing acropolis overlook-ing the town of San Ignacio, Cahal Pech is a medium sized Maya center.

Extensive excavation has revealed 34 structures around seven courtyards. This highest temple stands at 77 feet. The

site is within a beautiful jungle environ-ment and is home for many exotic and colourful birds and tropical plants. A

new visitors’ center and museum has recently been opened. Return to your hotel.

Day 7

SAN IGNASIO (Tour to Mountain Pine Forest Reserve) | INC: B

After breakfast departure to your half day jungle adventure tour to Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve, this is a 300

square mile area where you will find a scenic combination of cool pine forest, tumbling waterfalls, lush river valleys,

numerous caves & waterfalls. Most notable of the falls is the Hidden Valley Falls, a narrow chute of water falling over

1,000 feet. Also located within the reserve are the sparkling waters of the Rio On Pools & the spectacular Rio Frio

Cave. Return to your hotel and rest of the afternoon at your leisure.

Day 8

BELICE CITY– END OF THE TOUR | INC: B

Breakfast. Check out and transfer to the airport for your fligh.
